A note from Cielo about COVID-19
The health and safety of our customers, candidates, and employees is our top priority. To protect our community during this time, we've made some updates to our hiring plans and practices. Communication is essential, so we put together some FAQs to help articulate what's changing. If you have any questions, please reach out and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Question (Q): About the COVID-19 Coronavirus:
Answer (A): According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the virus responsible for the current outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is part of a large family of viruses, known as Coronaviruses, that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. (Q): What is your company's policy around coronavirus? 
(A): While respecting and following measures enacted by local and federal governments, Cielo offices will begin to slowly reopen in the United States, Europe and globally in the coming months. While we continue to look at our process to reintegrate safely into our office space, we are supporting employees who prefer to remain remote.

(Q): Is your office open?
(A): While respecting and following measures enacted by local and federal governments, Cielo offices will begin to slowly reopen in the United States, Europe and globally in the coming months. While we continue to look at our process to reintegrate safely into our office space, we are supporting employees who prefer to remain remote.
Interviews, orientation, and onboarding are all conducted remotely.

(Q): Are you rescheduling the events you cancelled?
(A): We have moved to virtual events.  Past cancelled events will be reviewed and rescheduled in the near future. Stay tuned as we release more information on future events.

(Q): Are you hiring at this time?
(A): We are actively looking for talent to join us. If you are interested in Cielo, we recommend you submit an application or join our Talent Community to receive updates about our organization. Our recruiters will review your profile and will be in contact about potential opportunities now or in the future. You can join our talent community here.

(Q): Why can I no longer view the positions I've applied for on your careers site?
(A): Some of our positions have been subsequently filled or put on hold. Do check the site regularly – positions will be posted as they become available. 

(Q): Should I apply now, or postpone my application due to the situation?
(A): Please apply or join our Talent Community, and if you meet the required skills and background, a Cielo Recruiter will be in touch to schedule a call. We are actively looking to add talent to our team. 

(Q): What happens if I apply now?
(A): If you meet the required skills for the current job, a Cielo recruiter will be in touch with you.

(Q): I have an interview scheduled, should I still show up?
(A): All interviews will be via Microsoft Teams or phone until further notice. Your recruiter will be in touch shortly to provide additional details if this has not already happened.
Can I participate in a virtual interview?
Yes, we have moved to all virtual interviews and these will be scheduled via Microsoft Teams unless indicated otherwise by your recruiter.

(Q): Can I postpone my interview?
(A): We understand that you may need to re-arrange or postpone your interview in the current circumstances, please reach out to your recruiter who will work with you to reschedule as best they can.

(Q): Are we still accepting referrals?
(A): We always welcome referrals and are still accepting them. You can submit referrals for any open jobs or make a general referral. Our recruiters will contact all referrals as appropriate.

(Q): What information can I share with my referral?
(A): Our recruiters will review and acknowledge all referrals as quickly as possible. We will ensure they are added to our talent pool for future openings.

(Q): Will any job openings be changed, cancelled, postponed?
(A): Over recent weeks we have seen a reduction in cancelled, postponed, and changed positions with an increase in hiring needs. We update our site to ensure that all currently available jobs are posted. Should a job opening be postponed or cancelled, you will receive communications from our Internal Talent Acquisition team.
