A note from Cielo about COVID-19 

​​​​​​​The health and safety of our customers, candidates, and employees is our top priority. To protect our community during this time, we've made some updates to our hiring plans and practices. Communication is essential, so we put together some FAQs to help articulate what's changing. If you have any questions, please reach out and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Question (Q) - What is Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
Answer (A) - According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the virus is responsible for the current outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is part of a large family of viruses, known as Coronaviruses, that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. Q - What is your company's policy around coronavirus? 
A - In response to measures enacted by local and federal governments, Cielo offices in the United States, Europe, and Globally are closed until further notice. All employees in these offices will continue to work remotely during this time. 

Q - Is your office open? 
A - To ensure our employees' wellbeing and safety, we have mandated that all colleagues work from home. If you had an appointment or an interview scheduled to visit any of our office locations, your point of contact/recruiter will be in contact with you to reschedule for a virtual meeting. 

Q - Are you rescheduling the events you cancelled? 
A - We will look to reschedule events in the near future. Stay tuned as we release more information on future events.

Q - Are you hiring at this time? 
A - We are always looking for talent to join us. If you are interested in Cielo, we recommend you submit an application or join our Talent Community to recieve updates about our organization. Our recruiters will review your profile and will be in contact about potential opportunities now or in the future. You can join our talent community here

Q - Why can I no longer review some of the positions I've applied for on your careers site? 
A - Some of our positions have been subsequently filled or put on hold. Do check the site regularly as, when positions become available again, they will be reposted. 

Q - Should I apply now, or postpone my application due to the situation? 
A - Please apply, or join our Talent Community, and if you meed the required skills and background, a Cielo Recruiter will be in touch to schedule a call.

Q - What happens if I apply now?  
A - If you meet the required skills for the current job, a Cielo recruiter will be in touch with you. 

Q - I have an interview scheduled, should I still show up? 
A - All interviews will be via Microsoft Teams or phone until further notice. Your recruiter will be in touch shortly to provide additional details if this has not already happened.

Q - Can I participate in a virtual interview? 
A - Yes, your recruiter will be in touch to schedule a Microsoft Teams virtual interview.

Q - Can I postpone my interview? 
A - We understand that you may need to re-arrange or postpone your interview in the current circumstances, please reach out to your recruiter who will work with you to reschedule as best they can. 

Q - Are we still accepting referrals? 
A - We always welcome referrals and are still accepting them. You can submit referrals for any open jobs or make a general referral. Our recruiters will contact all referrals as appropriate. 

Q - What information can I share with my referral? 
A - Our recruiters will review and acknowledge all referrals as quickly as possible. Though current opportunities are limited, we will ensure they are added to our talent pool for future openings.

Q - Will my referral still be valid since the hiring process is halted? 
A - Absolutely! Referred candidates are hugely important to us and we will ensure they are awknowledged and kept up to date for relevant current and future roles.
