Company Description

We are seeking a Senior RPO Recruiter to support end-to-end recruitment delivery for our client organization(s). This role will partner closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to drive high-quality hiring outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong in-house recruiting experience, operates with a consultative mindset, and is comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. Life sciences industry exposure is a plus.

  • Work Location: Tokyo, Japan
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model (3–4 days per week onsite), subject to company policy
  • Languages Required: 
    • Japanese: Native level or equivalent professional proficiency (JLPT N1 level)
    • English: Business‑level proficiency
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Non-core flexible working hours) 

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, from intake meeting through offer acceptance
  • Act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers, providing market insights, hiring recommendations, and status updates
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using a mix of direct sourcing, referrals, and recruitment agencies
  • Screen, assess, and interview candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and organizational culture
  • Coordinate interview processes and provide an excellent candidate experience throughout
  • Manage offers, support negotiations, and ensure smooth onboarding handoff
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting within the ATS
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal recruitment processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate quality

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • More than 3 years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Mandatory in-house recruitment experience (corporate or embedded RPO model)
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Experience recruiting across a wide range of functions and seniority levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Japan, with a strong understanding of:
    • Japanese business culture
    • Local hiring manager expectations
    • Japanese HR and employment practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using ATS and recruitment sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Recruitment experience within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries is as a plus.
