Job Description
The Director – Corporate Communications will bridge the gap between strategy and execution for our internal communications function. They unite our global teams ensuring that every employee, regardless of region or role, feels connected, informed, and recognized. They own the strategic framework and delivery of internal communications, focusing on employee engagement, leadership presence, and global connectivity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with Cielo’s business goals and resonates across all regions (NAM, APAC, EMEA, LATAM).
- Audit and modernize our communication tools and tech stack (intranet, collaboration platforms, newsletters) to ensure impactful, two-way dialogue rather than just top-down information dissemination.
- Champion Cielo’s values by crafting inclusive communications that celebrate our diverse workforce. Ensure all messaging demonstrates deep cultural awareness and sensitivity to regional nuances.
- Lead the strategy and management of global employee recognition initiatives, ensuring we celebrate wins and value contributions in a meaningful, visible way.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and regional leadership. Coach leaders on visibility, tone, and messaging to increase their engagement with the broader workforce.
- Lead communication efforts for organizational changes, ensuring transparency and clarity to maintain trust during business evolution.
- Curate compelling stories that highlight employee success, innovation, and client impact.
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and employee sentiment, using data to refine strategies.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Education:
- Degree qualification is desirable, but not required.
Experience:
- 8-10+ years in Corporate Communications or Internal Communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a global, matrixed organization.
- Proven experience managing communications across multiple time zones and cultures (NAM, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, PHL). Understand the difference between "global consistency" and "local relevance."
- A strong track record of driving inclusion through language and communication strategies.
- Experience implementing or maximizing modern engagement tools (e.g., SharePoint, Viva Engage, Global All Hands, employee advocacy platforms).
- Capable of presenting to the Board and drafting a detailed employee newsletter the next.
- Understanding of leadership communication and interactions, experience of effective governance, partnership and influence.
- Established reputation, credibility and able to work in a matrix organization effectively.
Exposure:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong proficiency in comms and digital engagement tools.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting data to draw meaningful communication.
- Ability to simplify messaging to inform stakeholders of all levels including Board through employee level
